If the part needs a pad we do not stock, EPS will design and manufacture one. Our pad department has built one-of-a-kind pads for hundreds of customer applications — capable of delivering hundreds of thousands of imprints from a single custom pad.

- Mold-replication available — once you have a custom pad that works, we can build a mold so you can order identical replacements indefinitely
- Approximately 7 business day cure cycle for new custom pads
- Pad base thickness varies; not included in pad-height dimension
How to order a custom pad
To quote a custom pad, send us:
- Part geometry — a sample, CAD file, or detailed dimensional drawing of the surface being printed.
- Machine model — the pad-print machine the custom pad will run on (sets the maximum pad height).
- Artwork file — to confirm the printable area dimensions and aspect ratio.
- Required durometer — or describe the surface (irregular vs flat, fine detail vs broad coverage) and we will recommend.
- Expected cycle count — so we choose the right silicone formulation for durability.
Once approved, custom pads ship after the standard ~7 business day cure cycle.
