Plastic case packaging — thermoformed clamshells, injection-molded tool cases, snap-lid consumer containers, retail blister packs — is one of the highest SKU-count packaging segments EPS serves. A single brand or distributor can run dozens of case formats per product family, each with its own graphic. Conventional pad-print and direct-offset workflows force tooling changeover at every SKU. The XD-070 handles thermoformed and injection-molded plastic case decoration with two production functions integrated into one footprint: in-line corona pretreatment activates the polypropylene, polyethylene, or PETG substrate immediately before print, and single-pass inkjet with integrated LED-UV cure lays full color in one index. SKU changeover is a software job-load — no plate, no cliché, no mechanical reset. In-line printhead maintenance keeps the bridge ready continuously across the brand family.
