Syringe-barrel decoration is one of the highest-volume direct-to-object printing applications in the world. Every barrel needs sharp, repeatable graduation marks and product identification usually wrapped 360 degrees around a 10–40 mm clear plastic cylinder — at production rates that scale with vaccine and drug-delivery demand. Syringe and vial decoration is the medical-device application where the regulatory profile (FDA-grade production, Class VI ink chemistry, clean-room-compatible cell construction) collides head-on with vaccine-scale throughput targets.
