Long, narrow pads for tube and cylinder decoration with axial artwork — text running along the length of a tube, ruler-style markings on a syringe barrel, brand wordmarks on cosmetic tubes.

When to pick a linear pad
Linear pads are the right choice when the artwork extends well past the typical square pad envelope — long ruler markings, axial brand text, multi-character serial numbers, fine line drawings that run end-to-end across a part.
If the artwork is wider than long, use a square or rectangular pad. If the artwork wraps around the part, use a cylindrical pad.
